We’re a small shop with lots of experience. I’ve been in the business since 1985; my background is extensive and I’ve grown and changed with the industry.
I’ve hung out of helicopters for aerials, ridden with the cops and shot on the Redskins’ sidelines. BonAventure doesn’t claim to do everything, but what we do we do well—good clean video and excellent audio. And my being the shooter and the editor prevents a lot of potential communication problems.
Catherine and I go on a location and do the work of four. Her creative eye can really spruce up a ‘blah’ location utilizing existing things on site. Her natural ability puts clients at ease and makes the shooting process a breeze.

I love working with people and putting them at ease. I am a co-producer and am involved in pre-production, shooting and post. I love the early creative ‘brainstorming’ process.
David and I have worked together 20 years and are a crackerjack team. We like being a boutique company—we stick to what we know. Our clients get a good product for a fair price.
Few video guys have David’s musical abilities. He composes, plays and produces and is really good at selecting the right library music for the project. He also has exceptional script writing skills.
